Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien Bridge (Jambatan Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien)

15 July 2020 marked our King, The Sultan's 74th Birthday. Daulat Kebawah Duli Tuan Patik.

During his Titah, His Majesty officially name the historical bridge connecting Brunei-Muara to Temburong District. The bridge is now known as

Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien Bridge.

We are thankful and blessed. This makes it easier to commute and also enjoy the view of Brunei waters too.

Due to Covid-19 outbreak in Brunei and the borders closing, the bridge is already in use for the Brunei people commute back and forth Temburong district earlier, especially to make way for those working in either district.  With the consent of His Majesty, the people of Brunei Darussalam can use the bridge for easy commute by following all the rules set and taking care of each other safety while traveling.

The bridge itself has its own history as being the longest in Southeast Asia and we really enjoy the 20+ minutes drive on it while enjoying the nature's beautiful view.
